Lizzie is a film editor and photographer located in Manhattan, New York. She earned her B.A. in 2014 from Denison University where she majored in Cinema and minored in Communication and Psychology. Throughout the summer of 2013, she studied editorial design, Avid Media Composer and Adobe After Effects at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
She has experience as an Assistant Editor in advertising, documentaries, and scripted television. She began her career as an Assistant Editor at Spot Welders, a film and television editorial house stationed in LA and NYC, working with clients such as Geico, Visa, and Weight Watchers. She then began working as an Assistant Editor at Radical Media on shows such as National Geographic's Global Miniseries Mars, produced by Ron Howard & Brian Grazer, Investigation Discovery's series Killing Richard Glossip and currently serves as the Lead Assistant Editor on a Netflix Original Series releasing in 2018.
Lizzie was an American Cinema Editors Honorary Intern (January 2016). Being an honorary member of the esteemed American Cinema Editors Internship has allowed her to hone her technical skills and industry acumen to become a strong assistant editor. While an ACE intern, she was fortunate enough to shadow, and be taught by, editor Troy Takaki, A.C.E while he worked on Universal Studio's Almost Christmas, as well as other regarded ACE members working on NBC's Chicago Fire, Season 4.
Lizzie also edited Highsnobiety Magazine's Issue 11 behind the scenes videos of double platinum rapper A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg, which can be found on Highsnobiety's Facebook and Instagram pages. Her work has also screened at film festivals such as the New York Shorts International Film Festival, NYLA International Film Festival, Female Eye International Festival, and the Brooklyn Girl International Film Festival.
